A passionate wine enthusiast, Teresa joined Norex from Alko, where she worked for about ten years. \u201cI\u2019ve had the chance to do everything, from sales to various office-based roles,\u201d she laughs. <\/p>\n\n

While working at Alko, Teresa became interested in wine importing, and her attention was repeatedly drawn to a company whose drive for growth was in a class of its own. Moving to the fast-growing Norex felt like a natural career step. Today, Teresa’s workdays consist of a diverse range of tasks, from product lifecycle management to ensuring the accuracy of product information. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to the future. Let\u2019s see what else I\u2019ll get to do here.\u201d <\/p>\n\n

Like Looking in a Mirror<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Teresa recognizes a lot of herself in her employer. \u201cI have a strong desire to develop, learn, and be involved. I notice that the people at Norex think the same way. There is a desire here to move forward and innovate.\u201d At Norex, employees are not just allowed to be involved, they are encouraged to participate. \u201cWhen doing development work, the entire work community is involved. I find this important, and it motivates me to be a better employee.\u201d <\/p>\n\n

Having moved from a large employer to a family business, Teresa has welcomed the new corporate culture positively. \u201cWarmth, authenticity, and caring are emphasized here. In a family business, I can be myself, and I feel that is appreciated.\u201d <\/p>\n\n

Having spent a long time in customer service roles at Alko, Teresa knows a thing or two about Finns’ relationship with wine. \u201cSome are interested in the characteristics of different varieties and production methods. For the general public, however, the most important thing is what happens around the wine. The company, the food, the nature of the event, and what the wine can bring to it are emphasized. In the eyes of a Finn, the wine and the user experience must match.\u201d <\/p>\n\n
