Cantina Sgarzi Luigi

Luigi Sgarzi founded his winery in 1933 in the countryside of the small village of Castel San Pietro Terme on the outskirts of Bologna. Over the years, the company has passed from one generation to the next, and is now led by Luigi’s grandson Stefano in the fourth generation. Today, the entire Sgarzi family works together at the winery: Stefano’s wife Nadia, son Luigi Leonardo, and two daughters Anna and Francesca. Sgarzi has 140 hectares of vineyards and also purchases a significant amount of grapes and wine from other producers.
