Stellar Winery

Stellar Winery is the largest producer of high-quality, fair trade, organic wines in South Africa. The company sources certified grapes from independent growers in the Western Cape region. Some of the growers and workers own a portion of the company, which operates with a focus on caring for the environment, workers, farmers, and their families, carrying social responsibility for the entire area. Stellar is the world's largest producer of wine without added sulfites. In addition to organic production, Stellar aims to be a pioneer in both winemaking and social development. The Running Duck wine series from Stellar Winery derives its name from the Indian runner ducks. These swift, flat-footed ducks feed on snails and other pests in the vineyards, taking care of the well-being of the organic wine vines.
