Description
Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is the barrel-matured version of Kellariolut No. 2 Imperial Stout. Aged for four months in a former Bourbon Quarter Cask whisky barrel, this Imperial Stout offers a rich aroma of roasted malt and lingonberries, complemented by a hint of whisky on the nose. Barrel ageing adds depth, structure and complexity to the flavour. The smooth malt profile is enhanced by notes of vanilla, along with oak and whisky-derived aromas from the bourbon barrel. Full-bodied and warming, this is a beer to savour at a leisurely pace. For the best experience, serve at approximately 10-14°C to allow its remarkable aromas to fully develop.
