Description
After is the world’s first aloe vera rum. In its production, only the heart of the aloe vera plant is used, while the remaining parts of the leaves are carefully collected, processed into fibers, and transformed into fabric. The secret behind After Rum’s flavor lies in premium-quality distillates sourced from the Dominican Republic. Unlike many rums, which rely on added sugar to achieve a rich and full-bodied taste, the producer of After does not wish to contribute to increased sugar consumption. Instead, the brand uses a completely natural blend of honey and aloe vera to create its distinctive character (some ingredients remain undisclosed as they are currently the subject of a patent application). As a result, After maintains a total sugar content of only approximately 1.9 g/L.
