Description
In addition to their double aging process, Plantation Single Cask releases undergo an extra few months of maturation in casks that previously held beer, wine, or other spirits. This additional cask selection enhances the distinctive aromatic profile of the rum’s origin. Fiji 2019 was aged for 4 years in ex-bourbon casks in the tropics, followed by 5 months in Ferrand cognac casks in France, and finally an additional 7 months in casks that previously contained coffee liqueur.
