Description

the Glen Moray Sherry Cask Finish is finished in the best Oloroso Sherry casks. Dry Oloroso Sherry is made from Palomino grapes in southwestern Spain, in and around the Andalusian town of Jerez de la Frontera. Like other fortified wines, alcohol is added to Oloroso, which kills the wine yeast. This prevents further fermentation and deterioration of the wine when in contact with oxygen during cask maturation. The aromas of Oloroso Sherry consist of dried fruit, leather, nuttiness and exotic spices.
