Description

Organic wine is increasingly in demand also regarding champagne and many champagne producers have been working in this direction for a long time. It has been a long path to walk from the 1970’s,when crushed municipal waste was spread out in the Champagne vineyards. No one would even think of such a thing anymore, but fragments of glass and plastic remind us of it from time to time when walking in the vineyards. Going organic is a long journey – certified organic grapes are only available to a limited extent and are often not included in the selections of large producers. Again, Nicolas Feuillatte shows their great resources.
