A classic Italian food wine. Pairs well with tasty meat dishes, like long-cooked piglet, Osso Bucco and winter stews. You can also try it with quality pizzas and pasta dishes. When chilled, it also pairs well with poultry and veal. Due to its Italian character, it is a good red wine alternative to richer antipasti.
