Description
The secret behind the great wines of Jérôme Quiot is centuries of know-how combined with modern winemaking. Even today, the grapes are collected by hand and the yields are kept small, to make the wines intense. The vines are about 40 years old on average. Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Duclaux is made in a very traditional way. Only the best grapes are used for the wine, and the wine is allowed to ferment slowly for three to four weeks. The wine is then matured for 20 months before being bottled on the vineyard.
