Description

Gaïa de Château Puybarbe is made from 100% Merlot. The winemaking process emphasizes careful grape selection, controlled fermentation, and careful maturation, all aimed at preserving the wine’s fresh fruit character and balanced structure. The estate follows organic and plant-based farming principles and is certified according to the Biocyclic Vegan standard. The wine originates from the Côtes de Bourg appellation in Bordeaux. The vineyards of Château Puybarbe, owned by Riku and Anna Väänänen, are located on a high plateau with clay and limestone soils that are ideally suited to Merlot cultivation.
