Description
Pinot Noir is the only Appellation Controlée red wine in Alsace. It produces a good tenth of all wines in the area. Pinot Noir is not an easy grape anywhere and it has played second violin in Alsace for a long time, accompanied by some of the region’s famous white wines. Increased know-how and new technologies have clearly improved the situation and Alsace’s Pinot Noir is now better than ever.
