Description

One of Finland’s most popular organic sparkling wines, Brut ‘b’, was created to be a winner. It is made using the traditional bottle fermentation method from classic Cava grapes Parellada, Macabeo, and Xarel·lo. Parellada dominates this blend and comes from the highest mountains in Penedès, giving the wine a floral freshness due to the vineyard’s unique microclimate. Macabeo adds fruitiness, and Xarel·lo contributes body. The organic wine’s complexity and harmony characterize this wine. Producing organic wine is not cheap, but considering this, the wine offers an exemplary price-quality ratio.

1. Agriculture: biodynamic farming, increasing biodiversity, and placing new vineyards at higher altitudes where a cooler microclimate balances rising temperatures. Additionally, using more local, drought-resistant grape varieties, reducing irrigation to save groundwater, and utilizing forests as carbon sinks.
2. Packaging: lighter bottles to reduce the carbon footprint, using more sustainable capsules and recycled materials.
