Description

Crémant d’Alsace celebrates its 50th anniversary, as August 24, 2026 marks fifty years since this lively sparkling wine was officially defined in French law. It is produced using the traditional method. To ensure quality, the vineyard plots intended for Crémant must be identified as early as March, meaning the vines are carefully managed for this purpose. The grapes must be harvested by hand, transported in small crates, and pressed as whole bunches. Only the first 100 litres of juice from every 150 kilograms of grapes may be used. Crémant d’Alsace offers excellent value for its quality.
