Description

Charta was founded by Bernhard Breuer in 1983 and Barth is an original member of the organisation. The purpose of the organisation is to highlight the best features of Rheingau wines with a very strict control of wine making and to cherish their quality and style. Charta wines are always made from Riesling grapes and are carefully hand-picked from the best vineyards. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts in steel tanks at very low temperatures. Charta wines can be identified by the Roman double arc. Barth Riesling Charta is an organic wine.
