Description
This wine comes from the middle of beautiful nature in Redondo Alentejo, where the soil of the vineyards consists of clay and slate. The vineyards are surrounded by forest. The combination of soil and sun grows character rich grapes, which make for a robust and well-balanced, but at the same time fresh wine. The region is characterised more by donkeys and sheep grazing in pens than by trucks and tractors. The characterful wine is obtained from the grapes Verdelho, Viognier, Antão Vaz and Arinto. Harvesting is done by hand. One half is fermented chilled steel tanks, the other very slowly in medium size oak casks.
