The responsibility meter is an indicative description of the producer's level of responsibility and is based on Norex's own responsibility survey. Read more on our information pages.
Description
The carefully selected grapes of this wine grow well in the calcareous soil around Dittelsheim. The vineyards have either a Premier Cru (Erstes Gewächs) or a Grand Cru (Grosses Gewächs) rating. Shell contact before fermentation gives the wine additional dimensions. Alcohol fermentation is carried out with natural yeasts on the surfaces of the grapes and takes place in a steel tank, where the wine is also matured. This wine presents the uniqueness of Dittelsheim in a wonderful way. Succulence meets mineral notes. Enjoy this wine right away, but it is also well suited for years in the cellar.
