Barón de Ley wines awarded at Decanter and several other competitions
A number of wines from Spanish producer Barón de Ley have received awards in international competitions. The awarded wines are Baron De Ley Varietales Graciano 2018, Baron De Ley Rosado De Lágrima 2020, Baron De Ley Gran Reserva 2015, Baron De Ley Tres Viñas Blanco Reserva 2018, and Baron De Ley Reserva 2017. The wines were awarded in five competitions: Decanter World Wine Awards, Sommeliers Choice Awards, International Wine Challenge, International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), and James Suckling. Baron De Ley Varietales Graciano (2018) received a silver medal with 90 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards. The Decanter World Wine Awards is the world’s largest and most prestigious wine competition, held for the eighteenth time this year. This year featured over 18,000 wines from 56 different countries, judged during June by 170 wine experts. Baron De Ley Rosado De Lágrima (2020) received 90 points from James Suckling and at the Sommeliers Choice Awards 95 points, a gold medal, and the awards Rose Wine of the Year and Wine of the Year by the Glass.
Baron De Ley Gran Reserva (2015) received 90 points at the International Wine Challenge and 92 points from James Suckling.
We are also expecting to receive Baron De Ley Tres Viñas Blanco Reserva vintage 2018 and Baron De Ley Reserva vintage 2017 in stock. Both wines are currently available in earlier vintages.
