Description

This estate, located in the heart of the Sauternes appellation, has upheld winemaking traditions since the time of the French Revolution — for six generations. Château Violet Lamothe is situated in Preignac on the left bank of the Garonne River, about 40 km south of Bordeaux. The vineyard covers 15.5 hectares, the majority planted with Sémillon (90%). Thanks to its exceptional terroir and the expertise passed down through generations, the estate’s wines stand out for their richness, structure, fruitiness, and refined elegance. Serve well-chilled at approximately 10–12°C.
