In 1821, Nicolas Bouey bought the family’s first vines in the heart of Médoc. His descendants became involved in all aspects of the wine industry. In the 20th century, Roger Bouey created a trading company with his sons Serge and André. Maison Bouey was born in 1958. Maison Bouey is now one of the last independent, family-owned wine merchants remaining in Bordeaux. The only shareholders are Patrick and Jacques Bouey, ensuring the family maintains complete control. The family’s central vision is that healthy wines require healthy soil.
