Description
The label, with its letters rising diagonally to the right, seems to proclaim freedom for Burgundy. The wine in the bottle lives up to that statement. The Chardonnay grapes come from vines averaging 50 years of age. The vineyards of the Mâcon region are rooted in clay and limestone soils, with slopes facing southwest. The wine is made using traditional methods: gentle pressing of the grapes, clarification and fermentation, followed by one year of ageing on fine lees in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.ars old.
