Hacienda López de Haro fights against prejudice. It is one of Vintae’s wineries that embodies a philosophy of boldly walking their own path and fighting against standards and mediocrity.

Vintae’s roots are in Rioja, and Hacienda López de Haro is the pride of its homeland. The finest grapes of Rioja from an area growing old Tempranillo vines are combined here with dedicated work in creating each of the estate’s wines.

Hacienda López de Haro is located in a privileged position in the best area at the heart of the Rioja wine region in the village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra. The location of the vineyards is very fortunate, as a unique microclimate prevails there. The Toloño mountain range protects the vineyards from cold sea winds while the Ebro River brings the necessary moisture for cultivation. In these ideal conditions, today’s classic Rioja is born.
