The Collemattoni estate is located on a hilltop in the southern part of the Montalcino municipality. The estate’s 11 hectares of vineyards, primarily growing Sangiovese, are spread across five different areas in the southwest and southeast of Montalcino. The 700-square-meter wine cellar was fully renovated in 2012, and its modern technology allows for precise control of the entire winemaking process from fermentation to bottling. Grapes are always hand-picked and carefully selected before fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wines age underground in natural conditions in Slavonian oak barrels and French tonneaux. Despite the modern technology, the cellar is intentionally traditional, where the Bucci family welcomes guests to a landscape with views stretching from Sant’Angelo in Colle all the way to the sea.
