Description

In search of the perfect Garnacha we have entered the Priorat area, where Fosca offers Mediterranean climate and minerals. La Garnatxa Fosca has grown in vineyards that are more than 60 years old, at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters above the sea, on the hilly slopes of the Molar Mountains and on slate terraces. The grapes were harvested by hand at the end of September and in the first days of October. The maceration took two weeks and the fermented in refrigerated steel tanks. The wine matured for ten months in new and old French oak casks.
