The name of South Tyrol’s esteemed grape variety, Teroldego, translates as “the Gold of Tyrol.” This renowned variety reaches its finest expression in the Piana Rotaliana area of Trentino in northern Italy, where it produces truly majestic wines with excellent ageing potential.
