As the name suggests, Strip Joint Malbec pairs perfectly with sirloin steak, but it’s also great on its own. It complements a variety of meat dishes, especially grilled foods. Roasted vegetables and mild cheeses also make excellent companions. Its harmonious structure and silky texture even inspire some to pair it with chocolate or pralines.

Description

Paalupaikka Malbec expresses the grape variety in its purest form, showcasing all its strengths. Meaty tannins combine with straightforward fruitiness, creating a wine that delights all the senses. The Malbec grapes, sourced from over 30-year-old vines in the Castile region, were harvested late and at night to enhance ripeness and freshness. 48-hour maceration preceded a 10-day fermentation in cool 12–14°C tanks. Malolactic fermentation and six months of aging in French oak barrels further softened the tannins. This wine is suitable for vegans and vegetarians—of course, without the sirloin steak.
