Description

Italy boasts over 100 sparkling wines with DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) status, yet none of them come close to Prosecco’s annual production of more than 600 million bottles. Produced in northeastern Italy across an area of over 250 square kilometers in the regions of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, Prosecco DOC has taken consumers by storm. Freshly fruity, floral, and aromatic, this wine appeals to a wide range of tastes and offers excellent value for money. The primary grape variety is Glera, and the wine almost always gains its bubbles through the tank (Charmat) fermentation method. Casa Charlize Prosecco is fully sparkling, pure, and well-defined in character.
