Aroma: The intense scent is reminiscent of flowers, citrus, herbs and green apples
Taste: Dry, freshly acidic, gently fruity, clean-cut, noyes of apricot and green apple. The long finish is dominated by citrus, tinting with rhubarb and distant spiciness

Description

Riesling is one of the best white grapes in the world, which showcases its growth area in a great way and gives long-aged wines. Riesling is the main image and icon of Alsace wines. Here and from here you have to taste Riesling. It’s rarely disappointing. A small pitfall is residual sugar, which some producers leave in the wine, believing they will lose on the US market. Wolfberger doesn’t do that. It is interesting, that the wine country of France allows Riesling with permission and origin marking only in Alsace.
