New Year’s Sparkling Wines and Cocktails
The year is changing! If ever there was a time to pour sparkling wine, it’s now, and speeding up service would be most welcome. Perhaps you already have a tradition of putting sparkling wine bottles on special? A quick alternative is of course piccolos, if the drink is only needed for a couple of people.
Just pop, pour, and on to the next one!
P.S. Or would you prefer a nice cocktail instead of bubbly? Check out Aatu Ståhlhammar’s drink recipes below and whip up a New Year’s Highball or French 75 for your customer.

Royal Bubbles
Rotari Riserva Brut (75 cl) & Rotari Gran Rosé Brut (75 cl and 20 cl)
Do you know Rotari yet? Their name is a tribute to King Rotari of the Lombards, who ruled Northern Italy in the 7th century.
Rotari Riserva Brut is made from hand-picked Chardonnay grapes grown in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The soil is Dolomia stone, containing limestone, calcium, and magnesium carbonate, which gives the wine elegant minerality.
Berry-rich and nuanced Rotari Gran Rosé Brut is also made from hand-harvested Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The Pinot Noir comes from hillsides with varying terrain, providing structure and rich aromatics. The Chardonnay from the Adige Valley, meanwhile, has gained acidity and aromatic character from the high slopes. Gran Rosé is also available in a 20 cl bottle size.

How about French sparkling wine, real champagne, or prosecco?
Nicolas Feuillatte Réserve Exclusive Brut, Soligo Prosecco Brut & Saint-Louis Brut Blanc de Blancs (20 cl)
Small bottles pack a punch. When the occasion calls for champagne for two, Nicolas Feuillatte Réserve Exclusive Brut (20cl) serves perfectly. This perfectly sized champagne is Feuillatte’s classic house champagne and the cornerstone of the entire range.
Devoted prosecco fans will surely enjoy Soligo Prosecco Brut (20cl). This soft-acid and abundantly fruity prosecco is an approachable and fresh choice for a couple of glasses.
French elegance never disappoints. Saint-Louis Blanc de Blancs (20cl) is a relaxed and versatile choice, with quality guaranteed by one of France’s leading wine merchants, Barton & Guestier. Bonne année, Happy New Year!
