Description

20-year-old tawny occupies a special place in the heart of every Port wine lover. It has maturity, but at the same time distinctly fruity notes. It is ready to drink immediately and reasonably priced with regard to the long aging. This tawny is always a mixture of Port wines of different ages, and it does not necessarily have an arithmetic average age of 20. The cellar master makes the wine, with different layers of matured wines and younger ones to give freshness. The Port Wine Institute tastes the blend and accepts it as representative of its type and the producer is allowed to sell it.
