Description

The wine is produced in northern Italy, in Veneto, in the Valpolicella Classico area of the Marano valley. The Classico zone is known for its hillsides, limestone- and clay-rich soils, and balanced microclimate, which bring structure, freshness, and long aging potential to the wines. The wine is made using the Ripasso method, in which the wine undergoes a second fermentation with the grape skins from Amarone or Recioto wines, adding depth, structure, and aromatic intensity. Aging completes the wine’s balanced and multidimensional character.

Cantina Valpolicella Negrar on 1933 Veronaan perustettu osuuskunta, jolle on kertynyt sukupolvien ajan erityistä osaamista Valpolicellan alueella. Resurssit ovat huimat: 240 viljelijää ja 700 hehtaaria viinitarhaa. Osuuskunta päätti 1989 perustaa premium-tuoteperheen korkealaatuisten Valpolicella Classico -viinien kehittämiseen.
