Another year has passed – it’s time to mark your calendar for the most delicious afternoon of the year: Norex Grand Tasting!
An inspiring tasting journey around the world awaits you — featuring a vast selection of wines and spirits from across the globe, new learnings and inspiring encounters with industry professionals.
Norex Grand Tasting will take place at Vanha Ylioppilastalo in Helsinki Monday, September 22nd, from 2 PM to 7 PM.
What to expect?

Hundreds of products from around the globe
NGT offers a unique opportunity to explore our entire product portfolio — this year taking you on a world tour of flavours. More than 500 products from different countries and regions will be available for tasting.
Our brand partners will be present in person to share their expertise, providing in-depth knowledge and fascinating details about their products. An abundance of information and inspiration awaits!
Encounters, conversations and global insights without borders!
Grand Tasting brings industry professionals together across borders. The day offers not only tastings but also valuable insights, idea sharing and the latest industry news from around the world.
The event creates a unique opportunity to network, engage in insightful conversations, gain new knowledge and share expertise with fellow professionals.
In addition to the tastings, a selection of high-quality snacks will be served by our food partners.


Cocktail o´clock
Popular cocktails will be crafted throughout the event from 3 PM to 6:30 PM. Joining us are Helsinki’s own Toppa and Son of a Punch along with visiting star Tiima from Tampere.

Food Ranger

Konditoria pH7
Konditoria pH7 is an innovative pioneer following global food trends, leading the way in both confectionery and bakery products. Our products are handcrafted in Tuusula, where we operate with over 2,000 m² of production space. In addition to the patisserie, our facilities include an artisan bakery, where our production philosophy follows traditional methods — everything is made without shortcuts or unnecessary additives. Our breads are prepared from scratch and baked in a stone oven.
The secret to our success has always been our innovative, passionate, and hardworking team, constantly striving to exceed expectations. We currently employ nearly 60 confectionery and bakery professionals, whose expertise allows us to offer our customers high-quality, lovingly crafted products.
Son of a Punch
Liberty or Death is a cocktail bar in the center of Helsinki, inspired by New York’s bar culture – especially the Brooklyn atmosphere and old-school hip-hop. The menu is updated four times a year and is based on seasonal ingredients, topical flavour pairings and fun drinkability. After three months of renovation, the bar is open again – renovated but recognizable, ready for the next decade.
Bob’s Laundry is a cocktail bar and laundry in Punavuori that combines high-quality drinks, a relaxed atmosphere and a bar kitchen with snacks. And yes, we have a real laundry, so the laundry is done during the same visit. Bob’s is made for hanging out – whether you’re passing by or stopping for an entire evening. The drink list changes regularly, but the common thread is always fun, taste and surprise
Tiima
Tiima is the brightest star in Tampere when it comes to cocktails. Opened in 2017 in an old watch shop, the cocktail bar has earned its place in the hearts of restaurant customers in beer driven Tampere, and if you ask a local where to go for a cocktail, the answer is almost certainly Tiima. The small brick walled cocktail bar serves both classic cocktails and signature drinks from the cocktail list that change a few times a year. In Tiima, the guest is very likely to get a better than average drink with above average customer service and leave more satisfied than average.

Toppa
Toppa is located on the top floor of the historically significant Sugar Cube designed by Alvar Aalto. The atmosphere of the restaurant blends smoothly with modern elegance and respect for historical dignity. Toppa is a place where every detail has been carefully considered – from modern furniture to nostalgia evoked by old Artek classics.
